TextureJet Wins Best Precision Engineering Technology Company at the SME News UK Enterprise Awards!

TextureJet has been named Best Precision Engineering Technology Company in the 2026 SME News Midlands Enterprise Awards! This award recognises our innovative approach to intelligent surface processing and growing contribution to advanced manufacturing.

With our intelligent surface engineering platform, we are transforming how manufacturers approach applications including precision deburring, edge shaping, surface preparation and cross-hole deburring.

The Mayor of the East Midlands, Claire Ward, officially opened TextureJet’s new premises in Ripley, Derbyshire earlier this year. Together, these milestones reflect our continued growth and increasing contribution to the East Midlands’ advanced manufacturing sector.

Jonathon Mitchell-Smith, CEO of TextureJet said; “we are honoured to be nominated by the SME News awards for another consecutive year. This recognition is a fantastic reflection of our hard work and commitment to challenging the norm for a better, cleaner future for British manufacturing”.

“Winning the Midlands Enterprise award is extremely meaningful for us. TextureJet began as a spin-out from the University of Nottingham. We have recently moved to Derbyshire, following a six-figure investment that enabled us to continue into the next stage of our commercial growth”.

The accolade highlights TextureJet’s growing impact on manufacturing through cleaner, smarter and more precise technology for surface manufacturing.
